Shopping Tour in Tuscany With a Private Driver

A full day between the outlets of the Valdarno, those of the Mugello and the boutiques of central Florence, with the car, the waiting and the bags on us.

A chauffeured shopping tour in Tuscany usually runs 8 to 10 hours door to door and covers two or three stops. The classic route takes in The Mall Firenze at Leccio Reggello (Via Europa 8, normally open daily from 10am to 7pm), the Prada outlet at Levanella near Montevarchi that everyone calls Space, the Barberino Outlet in the Mugello, and the boutiques of Via de' Tornabuoni in central Florence. Your driver waits at every stop, loads the bags into the car and takes you back to the villa, the hotel or the airport. A typical day: leave the villa around 9.30am, spend the morning at The Mall (30 to 45 minutes from Florence depending on traffic), have lunch at a trattoria in the Valdarno, then either the Prada outlet at Montevarchi in the afternoon or back into the centre for Via de' Tornabuoni, the Ponte Vecchio goldsmiths and the artisan workshops of the Oltrarno. One outlet on its own fits comfortably into 5 or 6 hours. Weekday mornings are the calmest; at weekends and in the sale season it pays to set off early. If you expect to buy a lot we send a minivan, so the bags go into the car at every stop and your hands stay free until the evening. On request we add a personal shopper who books the boutique appointments and has a selection waiting, and if you live outside the EU we explain how to get tax free forms in store and have them validated before you leave the EU. Send us the date, the number of guests and the labels you care about: you will have a route, a car and a price for the day, usually within a day. We work in English, Russian, Italian and German.

How the Shopping Day Works

01

Valdarno and Mugello Outlets

The Mall Firenze at Leccio Reggello, the Prada outlet at Levanella near Montevarchi and the Barberino Outlet in the Mugello: two of them fit comfortably into one day.

02

Via de' Tornabuoni Boutiques

Dropped at the doors of Florence's golden mile, between Via de' Tornabuoni and Via della Vigna Nuova, with the driver waiting nearby while you try things on.

03

Artisan Workshops and Ponte Vecchio

Leather ateliers, made-to-measure tailors and the goldsmiths of the Ponte Vecchio, including fittings and a second stop to collect finished pieces.

04

Minivan for the Bags

For a big haul we send a minivan: bags go into the car every time you come out, so nobody walks the outlet with their hands full.

05

Waiting at Every Stop

The driver stays for as long as you need, with no shuttle timetable and no hunting for a taxi, and moves on when you are ready.

06

Personal Shopper and Tax Free

On request a personal shopper books the appointments and has your sizes ready, and we walk you through the tax free paperwork if you live outside the EU.

Why Shop With a Driver

Door to Door, No Parking

No queue for the outlet car park at weekends or in the sales, no taxi home: the car is at the entrance whenever you walk out.

Your Tour, Not a Shuttle Timetable

Shuttle buses run to fixed times. With a driver you decide how long to stay, whether to add a stop or head back earlier than planned.

Craft as Well as Labels

Beyond the outlets we know the leather, jewellery and tailoring workshops where pieces are still made by hand, away from the tourist streets.

In Your Own Language

Drivers and support in English, Russian, Italian and German, with the day coordinated over WhatsApp from start to finish.

Shopping Tour FAQ

How long does a shopping tour in Tuscany take?

A full day is normally 8 to 10 hours door to door, enough for two outlets or one outlet plus the Florence boutiques. A single outlet run takes 5 to 6 hours.

Which outlets can we visit in a day?

The Mall Firenze at Leccio Reggello, the Prada outlet at Levanella near Montevarchi, the Barberino Outlet in the Mugello and the Valdichiana Designer Village at Foiano della Chiana. Two in one day is realistic.

Can we combine the outlets with shopping in Florence?

Yes, and it is the most requested format: the outlets in the morning, since they usually open at 10am, then Via de' Tornabuoni and the artisan workshops in the afternoon. The driver plans the timing so neither half is rushed.

Will the driver wait while we shop?

Yes, waiting is part of the day. The driver stays at each stop for as long as you need and moves on when you are ready, with no shuttle timetable to catch.

Where do the shopping bags go?

Straight into the car each time you leave a shop. For a big day we send a minivan and, if it helps, drop the first load at your villa or hotel before carrying on.

How does the VAT refund (tax free) work for non-EU residents?

Ask for a tax free form in the shop and show your passport: it applies above a minimum spend per shop. The form must be validated before you leave the EU, and the refund is paid at the airport or through the operator the shop uses.

Can you add a personal shopper?

Yes. The personal shopper plans the route, books the boutique appointments and has sizes and a selection ready, while the driver keeps the day on schedule.

What does it cost and how do we book?

The day is quoted on request, based on the car, the hours and the route. Message us on WhatsApp or Telegram with the date, the number of guests and the labels you want, and we usually reply within a day with an itinerary and a price.
