We have lived in Tuscany for 15 years and know the pilots we fly with personally. When is the best season to fly over Tuscany?
Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are ideal: gentle air, clear sunrises and hills either in bloom or turning gold. Summer flies at the very first light; winter flights are rare due to weather.
Is the flight truly private, with no strangers aboard?
Yes. We offer a private basket for your party alone or an exclusive basket in full - never a mixed group. The two-person format is perfect for a proposal or an anniversary.
How early do we start and how long does it last?
Balloons launch at sunrise, so pickup is before dawn - usually between 5:00 and 6:30 depending on the season. The flight itself lasts about an hour, and the whole morning with the toast and breakfast runs three to four hours.
What happens if the flight is cancelled for weather?
Safety comes first: if the wind is not right, the pilot postpones. We build a backup day into your dates in advance and handle any rescheduling for you.
How do I book and what does it cost?
