Private cooking classes in Tuscany

Fresh pasta, regional dishes and tiramisu with an Italian chef at a villa or farmhouse, ending in a shared meal and a glass of wine.

Real Tuscan cooking does not begin in a restaurant but at a long wooden table, where dough takes shape under your hands and a chef shares the small tricks no cookbook ever writes down. We arrange a private class at a villa or a family farmhouse set among olive groves: you roll out fresh pasta, fold ravioli and tortelli, cook regional dishes, and whip up your first proper tiramisu. This is not a show with an audience but calm, hands-on cooking at your own pace, for a couple, a family or a small circle of friends, never a mixed group. If you like, the day starts at a morning market, where the chef picks the seasonal produce and explains why this cheese is worth it and which tomatoes to choose. And it all ends around a set table: you sit down to eat what you made yourselves, over a Tuscan wine and an unhurried conversation.

What the class includes

01

Fresh pasta by hand

Mix the dough and roll it yourself: tagliatelle, pappardelle, ravioli and tortelli, guided by a chef who corrects every move.

02

Regional dishes

Cook what Tuscans actually eat: ribollita, pici with ragu, crostini and seasonal sauces, with the menu shaped around your tastes.

03

Tiramisu & desserts

Build a classic tiramisu from scratch, and in season cantucci, panna cotta or zuccotto, so you take the recipe home with you.

04

Market visit

If you wish, start at a morning market in Florence or a nearby town, where the chef chooses seasonal produce and shows you how to tell good from ordinary.

05

Villa or farmhouse

We hold the class at your villa or a country farmhouse among olive groves and vineyards, with an open kitchen and a view over the hills.

06

A shared meal with wine

At the end you sit down to a set table and taste everything you made, paired with a Tuscan wine, a Chianti Classico or another to your liking.

Questions about cooking classes

Is the class available in English?

Yes. The chef leads in Italian or English, with our coordinator or an interpreter beside you so you catch every detail. We host in English, Russian, Italian and German.

Do I need any cooking experience?

None at all. The class suits complete beginners: the chef guides you step by step, shows each move first and corrects as you go. You cook calmly, without any rush.

Can we bring children and cover allergies or vegetarians?

Absolutely. Children love rolling pasta and layering tiramisu. Tell us in advance about allergies, vegetarian diets and other preferences, and we shape the menu around the whole party.

What time of year is best to come?

The class runs year-round, but the menu is always seasonal: light vegetables and herbs in spring and summer, mushrooms, chestnuts and new oil in autumn, hearty ragus and soups in winter. A market visit is easiest to plan for the morning.

How do we book and what does it cost?

Message us on WhatsApp or send a request: we confirm dates, guest numbers and preferences, suggest a chef and a venue, and send a program with pricing. Cost depends on format, menu and season.
