How is a Florence wedding different from a Tuscany wedding?
This one takes place within the city itself: Renaissance palazzi, courtyards and rooftop terraces rather than countryside villas and wineries. Everything is within walking distance, guests stay in the centre and Florence itself is the backdrop.
Can we legally marry within the city?
Yes. We guide you through a civil wedding in Florence's historic halls: we advise on the documents and arrange the apostille, translation and an accredited interpreter for the ceremony. Alternatively we hold a symbolic ceremony with no formalities.
Is the city suitable for a very small, intimate wedding?
Yes, and it is one of our favourite formats. A ceremony in a quiet courtyard or on a terrace, dinner in a historic hall and a walk through the old town, all planned with the same care as a large celebration.
Will everything stay confidential?
Yes. We work under NDA, use vetted suppliers and never disclose names, venues or details. Discretion is built into every stage of the planning.
How far in advance should we plan?
For a celebration in high season, May to September, we recommend 6-12 months: the finest historic venues in the centre book up early. An intimate ceremony can be arranged on shorter notice when the calendar allows.
